We tried Sebamed Clear Face Cleansing Bar as part of our experiment looking for a bar soap to use on the face and in the shower. We again tried Sebamed because we knew the pH would be right.
pH Level: 5.5
Mia/V’s review: Similar to the Sebamed body/face wash, the Sebamed bar soap hardly foams up at all. For this reason, it is not our choice for a shower soap for face/body. It didn’t cause V any problems and he liked it except for the fact that it didn’t have much of a lather.
I adore the smell. I’m not sure how to describe it (perfume-y) but it is not the same smell as the liquid body/face wash. It was strong enough, however, that I did not want to try using it on my face. A lot of other people do like using this as a facial cleanser. If it lathered more, I’d definitely use it in the shower or as a hand soap.
