I’ve been using sheet masks for a decade and can’t make myself use them regularly. I just don’t like sitting around with something on my face for 15-20 minutes even if all I’m doing is watching TV. I love the results (i.e., glow-y skin) of using a sheet mask but that still isn’t enough to get me to use them regularly. This is why I thought an in-shower mask would be prefect for me.
Mia’s review: I love the make p:rem in-shower face mask! It makes my skintone look more even and glowing. It also is a great moisturizer/hydrator. I started using it last fall and now it is summer (mid-August) and I still like using it. I have not had any break-outs due to this mask.
Here’s how I use it: I wash and dry my face, put on 1.5 pumps of the mask, and then get into the shower. I do this because I only wash my face with cold water. Therefore, I never wash my face in the shower and try really hard to not get warm water on my face…ever. I’ve read that some people like being able to wash their face in the shower and then put this on. They then finish with the rest of their shower and rinse it off the mask before getting out.
I’ve also read that some people have issues with the mask running into their eyes. I’ve never had it run into my eyes and it may have something to do with me putting it on a dry face. I then rinse this off AFTER I get out of the shower. It is likely that it is only on my face for 10 or so minutes and I still see great results.
I’ve also been making my husband use this and he likes it, too. I make him put it on a dry face (but he doesn’t wash it first). He then rinses it off and washes his face in the shower. It works for him, too.
